FinanceDash helps you understand your money. We only collect what we need to do that, we never sell your data, and you can delete it at any time.
What we collect
Account details you provide (name, email) and financial data from the accounts you choose to connect — balances and transactions — retrieved through Plaid. We also keep basic usage information to operate and improve the product.
How your bank connection works
We connect to your bank through Plaid with read-only access. We never see or store your bank username and password, and we can never move money. Access tokens are encrypted before they are stored.
How we use your data
To show your accounts, build your cash-flow timeline, detect recurring income and bills, and generate insights. AI insights are produced using Google's Gemini API on the data needed to answer your question. We do not use your financial data to train models, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to what's required to run the service.
Your choices
You can disconnect a bank, export your data, or delete your account and associated data at any time. To request an export or deletion, contact us at support@trypersonalfinance.com.
